This guitar strap is a copy in leather and suede of a strap that was used by Jimi Hendrix at the famous Isle Of White Festival. It is suggested that it was this guitar strap, now faded from it's original purple to brown that was given to David Gilmour on his 60th birthday. Since then I have been commissioned to carry out some restoration work on David's original Jimi Hendrix strap. The strap measures 52.5" from end to end, giving you about a 50", from hole to hole measurement. There are eight crosses on the front and five crosses on the back. Just before the top cross on the back is a small plectrum pocket. If you wear your strap shorter than 50", then you will loose some crosses. The strap is adjustable by threading the end of the strap through the slot in the leather and fastening it to one of three press studs on the back of the strap.
Please let me know what length of strap you want, measuring from peg hole to peg hole, otherwise the strap comes at a standard length of approximately 50 inches hole to hole.
